I will dominate 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote next month's bout.

Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Size Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
